Q.  How long does Invisalign® treatment take and how much is it?
A.  The duration and cost of treatment depends on the complexity of your  case, some as little as 3 months.  You may be surprised by how little time and expense is required.  Invisalign is faster and costs less than braces.

Q.  How often do I wear my aligners?
A.  Invisalign works only by wearing the aligners.  You will wear them except to eat, brush or floss, as directed by Dr. Setti.

Q.   Am I too old to have my teeth straightened?
A.   There are virtually no age restrictions on Invisalign.

Q.   Are there restrictions to what I can eat or drink?
A.   No.  Unlike traditional braces, you will completely remove your aligners to eat and drink.  There’s no need to miss your favorite things.

Q.   How often will I need to see Dr. Setti?
A.   Dr. Setti will schedule appointments usually every 6 weeks in order to give you your new aligner set and to see your progress.

Q.   Will wearing the aligners affect my speech?
A.   You may have a slight lisp for a day or two until your tongue adapts to having the aligners in your mouth.  After that, most people pretty much forget they’re wearing them.

Q.   Will the treatment be uncomfortable?
A.   You may experience slight tooth soreness for a day or two after starting each new stage.  This is normal and is a sign that the Invisalign aligners are working – sequentially moving your teeth to their final destination.  Any slight soreness should go away after a couple of days.
